Concrete Blonde – Kings Cross

Most people have what they fondly remember as their “stomping ground”. A place where they frequented in their youth and have some fond (and not so fond) memories of their time there, parting the night away with old friends, and normally meeting a few along the way. We had made a booking for three and weren’t meant to meet out the front of the hotel at 2pm. I was running a little late as usual and when I sent a text to let them know, the girls relayed the hotel message that as it was a public holiday and not too many bookings were made, we were being seated in the lobby so they would sit and I would meet them there. Hmmmm the lobby? I arrived at around...
