The Great Australian Pavlova Blog Hop

It’s amazing what can happen when you are on Twitter! Majority of the people I follow on Twitter and regularly connect with, are foodies (duh!). A part from the occasional celeb like Drita from Mob Wives (LOVE, and I’m not ashamed to say so!), my entire Twitter universe revolves around food. So I guess its not surprising that late one night while in a convo with Delicieux, Hungry Australian, JJ, and The Capers of the Kitchen Crusade about Reeses and their many uses, Hungry Australian mentioned she was doing a Pav for her next post. An hour or so (and a hogged Twitter feed) later, and we he had decided to do a blog hop!

Now pardon my newbie ignorance, but I had no idea what a blog hop was lol! But I kind of got the gist of it a few emails later. Its quite simple actually – we have bloggers (check!), we have a current theme (the humble Pavlova), we have a date (27 November), we have hosting blog (Delicieux). So we upload said post on said date, link up post to Delicieux (her instructions will be on the site) and then everyone “hops” around to all the other participating blogs and leaves lots of comment love and hopefully getting some great new ideas for their next Pavlova.

The blog hop is open to everyone around the world so please feel free to share the details with any bloggers that you think might be interested. Get out there! Tweet about it, update your status, post that sexy photo on Instagram or Flickr, etc. But if you do, make sure to use the official hashtag #pavbloghop

I must say, I have tried many recipes for a pav and I always go back to the lovely Ms Hay I’ve never had a problem with it, its always perfectly marshmallowy inside and an earth shattering outer. Its just that damn good!

So hey! Do you have a pav recipe that you adore and is a never fail? Or have you never even made a pav before but it’s on your to-do-list? Join us for The Great Australian Pavlova Blog Hop and get involved!

I cant wait to see what everyone comes up with!!! :D

I really wish I could do this but I don’t know if the timing will work out. Such a shame as it looks like so much fun :D

Thanks again for inviting Nic! I’m looking forward to checking it out. I’ve never had pavlova and never made a dessert like this, so if I joined this blog hop… it could be quite interesting…(not necessarily delicious one haha!). Keep us posted!

Well done in setting up a blog hop! Shame I won’t be able to as I’m not sure if I can get my posts up in time :) But would be a fun pav time :)
